Hi again everyone,

A ton of stuff has happened since I last blogged. First of all, I attended the Valencia International Piano Festival (VIPA) in Valencia, Spain. It was a fantastic experience and I learned innumerable techniques and ideas. The concerts were great, as were the master classes. I learned the most, however, at my private lessons, all of which were taught by some of the best professors in the world. As well, Valencia as a city was fantastic – a really cool mix of futuristic-looking new buildings and classical old buildings, all of which complemented by some great food. I don’t have many competitions or performances in the near future, but I’m currently working on Rachmaninoff Concerto No. 3, all of Ravel’s Gaspard de la Nuit, Beethoven’s Waldstein Sonata, Ligeti’s the Devil’s Staircase, and Liszt’s Mephisto Waltz. It’s definitely tough repertoire, but I’m enjoying learning it too. That’s all for now, but check back soon for another update!
Thanks for reading.
